Learning how to be a ball kid for the Mubadala Tennis World Championship

We see if we've got what it takes to shine at the mega sporting spectacle

Some of the world's biggest tennis stars will descend on Abu Dhabi for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship this week.

Every December the tournament comes to the International Tennis Center at Zayed Sports City with a host of the world's greatest players.

This year's line-up is truly spectacular, with the likes of Serena and Venus Williams, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in the capital vying for glory.

As you can imagine, a lot of work goes into putting the event on.

And arguably one of the most important is that of the ball kids.

The youngsters are on hand throughout all the games to make sure the matches go smoothly and the stars always have a ball to use.

The kids are trained at the International Tennis Center before the tournament each year, so this year we decided to see if we had what it takes to make the grade.

You can probably guess what happened, but we had a lot of fun finding out we weren't really up to it.
