Time Out Abu Dhabi tries cycling at Yas Marina Circuit

We tackle the F1 track for this week's vlog

Everybody knows that one weekend a year, the eyes of the world are on Yas Marina Circuit as the Abu Dhabi GP rolls into town.
But have you ever wondered what happens with the world-class track the rest of the year?
Well, the facility is mainly used as a fitness and exercise hub for the residents of Abu Dhabi with a string of regular training sessions and initiatives.
StartYAS, TrainYAS and GoYAS attract thousands of participants each week who enjoy exercising in a truly stunning arena.
And what’s even better is that they’re all free.
We tagged along to TrainYAS, which sees cyclists, runners and walkers descend on the 5.55km circuit each Tuesday night.
Equipment including the bicycle and helmet is provided for cyclists as long as you register before showing up.
Watch out vlog below to see how we got on.
And if you want to take part, you can register via the Yas Marina Circuit website here.
