Dubai's Emirates Airlines resumes A380 flights to Moscow

Dubai’s Emirates Airlines is resuming its A380 flights to Moscow this week, due to passenger demand.

The flights will resume to Moscow Domodedovo Airport on Friday (September 18). Flights to Moscow will operate every Friday and Saturday – departing Dubai at 10.10am on Friday morning, landing in Moscow at 2.25pm local time. The return flight leaves Moscow at 5.35pm and lands in Dubai at 11.35pm local time. On a Saturday the outbound leg leaves at 4.15pm, landing in Moscow at 8.30pm, and the return leaves Moscow at 11.20pm, arriving in Dubai at 5.30am on Sunday morning.

This follows on from the airline restarting its flights to the Russian capital last week. Emirates is now flying to more than 80 destinations worldwide – for a full list click here.

The A380 is also in operation to Cairo, Paris, London Heathrow, Guangzhou and Toronto.

COVID-19 PCR tests are mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.

Travellers flying from Dubai with Emirates Airline can now get COVID-19 PCR tests before flying out, priced at Dhs150.

Passengers who need to get tested can get the tests at the American Hospital Dubai Media City Clinic, American Hospital Al Barsha Clinic and American Hospital Al Khawanij Clinic, which is opening at the end September.

In order to get the PCR test for Dhs150, passengers must present a ticket or boarding pass, along with a departure within one month of the test date and ID.

Emirates is also offering the option of at-home or at-office testing in Dubai for Dhs250, for a minimum of two passengers. Results for both methods of PCR tests will return within 48 hours.
