Wizz Air Abu Dhabi adds flights to five new European destinations

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will begin to operate regular flights to Europe from October 1.

The low-cost airline will travel to six European destinations from Abu Dhabi with fares starting from Dhs129.

Tickets for flights are already on sale through the airline's website and mobile app.

New destinations flying from October include Alexandria (Egypt), Athens (Greece), Kutaisi (Georgia), Larnaca (Cyprus), Odesa (Ukraine) and Yerevan (Armenia).

From September, twice-weekly flights will also begin between Abu Dhabi and the cities of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Katowice (Poland) and Sofia (Bulgaria).

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is already operating flights out of Abu Dhabi International Airport and plans are in place to double the initial fleet by the end of 2020.

All passengers are expected to follow safety procedures including the wearing of face masks at all time in transit and in the airport.
