Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways announces extra passenger flights from the UAE

Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways will be running a series of additional special outbound passenger flights from the UAE capital.

The airline will now be flying from Abu Dhabi to Brussels, Dublin, London Heathrow, Tokyo Narita and Zurich, in addition to Amsterdam, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Manila and Jakarta.

The special flights have enabled passengers stranded in the UAE due to travel restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, to reach home.

The flights also support the ‘UAE Food Security Program’ by utilising belly-hold capacity of passenger aircraft for cargo.

You can book the flights through Etihad.com, the mobile app or by calling 600 555 666.

UAE nationals who want to return should contact their local UAE embassy or consulate.

The schedule for the new flights is below.

London Heathrow: 6.55am – April 16,17, 18
Zurich: 9am – April 17, 19
Brussels: 8.35am – April 17, 19
Tokyo: 9.40pm – April 14, 17, 20
Dublin: 11.20am – April 15, 20, 22
