New discount flights announced from Abu Dhabi to Salalah

Planning a trip away from Abu Dhabi this summer? We hear you.

If you’re not setting off for the summer then staycations can be a great way of breaking up your routine.

With so many deals around at the moment too, you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy a short trip.

Helping you to visit one of the most popular destination in Oman, Salam Air has introduced a new flight to Salalah from Abu Dhabi.

The Omani budget airline will depart the capital on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until September 7.

So it’s good news if you wanted to check out the khareef (green season) in Salalah.

While in the city, that has unseasonably cooler temperatures than Abu Dhabi, visitors can see waterfalls, enjoy lower temperatures than the rest of the GCC and see spectacular vegetation and greenery.

Etihad have also increased the number of flights to the popular Omani destination this summer.
