Etihad Airways increases flights to London for festive season

It will be easier for passengers heading to and from the English capital

Etihad Airways increases flights to London for festive season

Those of you hoping to fly to London this festive season, we’ve got some good news.

Etihad Airways is increasing its flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow, from three to four daily services, to meet peak demand in December.

It means whether you’re flying home for Christmas with your family or just want to spend the holiday in England’s capital city, you’ve got more choice.

The extra outbound daily flight will leave Abu Dhabi at 7.05am and arrive in London Heathrow at 11am.

While the extra inbound flight leaves Heathrow at 12.50pm and arrives here at 11.45pm.

James Harrison, General Manager for Etihad Airways in the United Kingdom and Ireland, said: “We are thrilled to announce more flights to London over the festive period.

“This is a busy time for local guests travelling between both capitals and the extra service will allow more choice and flexibility in their travel.”

Our guess would be that the flights to the city of Big Ben and Buckingham Palace will be in high demand, so you might want to book yours sooner rather than later.

Bookings can be made via Etihad's website here.
