One of Abu Dhabi’s many attractions is that the city is full of beautiful beaches, and therefore beach clubs.

Al Maya Island Resort

One for the adventure seekers, this beach club is located on a private island meaning you’ll have to hop on a boat to reach it. Once you arrive, expect to find everything from wakeboarding, kitesurfing, banana boat rides, kayaks and more watery fun awaiting you. There’s also a pool and dining options making it the perfect family outing.

Bayshore Beach Club

If you’re keen on exploring the depths of the Arabian sea, then Bayshore Beach Club is where you need to be. The club is home to a comprehensive dive training school but also offers other boating experiences. You can also rent kayaks, pedalos and paddleboards. If you prefer to just relax, then make yourself comfy on one of the luxury cabanas and hammocks available or soak up the heat on a sun lounger.

Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi Beach Club

As the name suggest, the hotel’s focal point is its 120m beach located in Downtown and Al Zahiyah. Get a day pass to enjoy every inch of it as well as access to an adults' pool, a kids’ paddling pool, two squash courts, three tennis courts and the hotel’s gym facilities. When you get peckish, the hotel’s restaurants are at your service for a variety of cuisines for both lunch and dinner. You'll have to be a member of hotel guest to enjoy this one.

Emirates Palace Beach Club

If there’s one thing you can expect at the Emirates Palace, its luxury. Just like the rest of the hotel, the facilities at this beach club are premium and simply stunning. As well as a 1.3km private sandy beach, get access to two fitness centres and two pools and plenty of water sports option including kayaks, windsurfing, wakeboarding and water skiing. You can also hire bikes and make the most of the hotel’s cycling tracks.

Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort

This beautiful hotel boasts a 400m private beach and not one but three outdoor swimming pools. Indulge in the ultimate day of sun, sea and sand by lounging on the beach or having fun in the swim-up bars and soaking up the laid-back atmosphere. If you fancy being active then you can also take advantage of the water sports facilities that include kayaks, paddleboards and surfing. You might even spot a dolphin while out in the sea.

Nation Riviera Beach Club

Placed along the Corniche, this picturesque family-friendly beach club is easily accessible from St. Regis Abu Dhabi’s main building via an air-conditioned private tunnel under Corniche Road. Facilities include a 33m temperature-controlled lap pool, complete with a swim-up bar and cabanas dotted around it. You’ll also find a play area for kids, a Jacuzzi and fitness scheduled fitness classes and activities to join in with.

Radisson Blu Beach Club

This beach club is a lively spot with fun and games taking place everywhere. Instead of a quiet day of sun bathing, it’s best for thrill seekers with roaring jet skis flying around the sea and all the activities on offer at the beach club’s dedicated water sports centre. Here, you can get stuck in to everything from paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing to yoga and other exercise classes.

Saadiyat Beach Club

As one of the hottest spots in the city, Saadiyat Beach Club is known for hosting some unforgettable beach parties with world famous DJs and celebrity guests. Aside from the parties, this luxury spot oozes glamour and boasts some top notch facilities including a gym, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, cold plunge pool and an impressive infinity pool which will no doubt be the first to catch your eye. Its 9km beach is the most secluded in the city so you can enjoy ultimate privacy.

Yas Beach

This private beach club is known as the party sands thanks to its lively atmosphere and crowd. Enjoy a dip in Yas Island’s crystal clear south beach or chill on a sun lounger as the resident DJ plays some party tunes. You can also get stuck into all the water sports on offer and make the most of the dining options with classic beach club menus at the food kiosk or sit down dinners at the beach club’s restaurant.

This stunning beach club is worth a visit even if it is purely to get your Instagram shot on the famous swings. However, once you’re there you’ll find that as well as its scenic views,  the private island offers a comprehensive menu of motorised and non-motorised water sports including banana boat, jet ski, kayak, paddleboards and plenty more
