Collectors can get some new music

A vinyl record market is coming to Abu Dhabi this weekend

Things go in and out of fashion, and right now retro is cool in Abu Dhabi.

Cassettes (no, really) are popular once more, but VHS tapes are still somewhere in attics gathering dust.

One retro collectable that’s really taken off once again is vinyl and it’s a good time to be a record collector these days.

Many stores in malls and online are selling both new and used records from classic artist and modern performers too.

Want to add some new vinyl to your collection? Abu Dhabi is the place to be.

On Saturday December 14, a Music Market will be held at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

The event will bring together music fans from across the capital who can pick up new records from popular and lesser known artists, and meet other collectors in the city.

Plus, on the day there will be some live performances from local bands to get you in the mood.

It sounds like a cool event to us.
Free. Dec 14. 3pm-9pm. Manarat Al Saadiyat, Saadiyat Island www.manaratalsaadiyat.ae.
