Middle East Games Con is coming back to Abu Dhabi

Things have come a long way since the days of Pong and Pacman.

There are VR headsets, detachable consoles like the Switch and more genres, stories and concepts in games than we could list.

In Abu Dhabi and the UAE, there’s a huge appetite for video games and the good news is the biggest gaming event in the region is returning in October.

Middle East Games Con will return to ADNEC to bring everything gaming together under one roof.

Fans can expect to check out some of the latest and unreleased games, meet YouTube gaming stars, shop for merchandise, get involved in cosplay competitions and watch e-sports tournaments.

“Each year we want to make the festival bigger and better than the year before for our fans, and this October we have some of the gaming world’s mega-brands joining us,” says event manager, Finlay Parr.

“I can’t say too much yet, but there will be incredible official unreleased content that I can’t wait for our gaming fans to see.”

Tickets will go on sale soon and more announcements are expected in the coming months.

We’ll keep you posted as more details emerge.
