The Emirates Longines Show Jumping League is in Abu Dhabi for four days of leaping, prancing and equestrian prowess.
The free event kicked off yesterday and will run until Friday February 22 at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort, showcasing some of the best showjumpers in the world.
The event is the Middle Eastern leg of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup qualifiers as part of the UAE’s most important international showjumping event of the year - the President of the UAE Showjumping Cup presented by Longines.
There’ll also be a load of horsey activities over the course of the competition, including free pony rides, arts and crafts, face painting and live entertainment between heats.
There’ll even be an equestrian village with pop-up stands where you can get your hands on a load of equine equipment and fashion, as well as plenty of food stands to keep you going.
There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained, too, with games including a special Unicorn derby, a Rodeo Bull, X’s & O’s, Horse Shoes and Giant Jenga.
We’re galloping down there at full speed.
