Day-long fitness festival hitting the capital in March

Huge free yoga event coming to Abu Dhabi

Yogis and fitness fanatics of Abu Dhabi, unite, because an entirely free yoga market and day of classes will be coming to town at the start of March.

The Yoga Market from BodyTree is back for its fifth year, and is arriving at Downtown Abu Dhabi for one day only - so if you’re looking for advice, gear, top tips or meditation then you’ll be able to make the most of a seven-hour open shop.

Taking place on Friday March 1, the market will be open at the BodyTree studio on the corner of Hazza Bin Zayed and Mubarak Bin Mohammed Street in Al Wahda.

Kicking off at 10am, the festival will include a range of talks, taster treatments and equipment on sale from some of the biggest vendors in the industry, including Lululemon, Rumi Earth, Hautletic and loads more. In total there will be more than ten different vendors to check out.

There are also a number of paid, ticketed classes you can head along to. Starting at 8.30am, there will be classes from a dozen different instructors, including one of the top Kundalini instructors around, Nancy Zabaneh – who is coming from Dubai just for the class.

You can head to any of the classes, meditation sessions and more for Dhs200, so make the most of the opportunity to see the country’s top instructors and fitness brands all in the same space.

If fitness is your thing, check out these five gyms in Abu Dhabi, or this brand-new boxing workout.

Dhs200. Fri Mar 1, 8.30am-4pm. BodyTree Studio, Al Wahda (02 443 4448).
