It’s worth heading out early this Thursday night as Iris Yas Island is offering 50 percent off selected beverages and 20 percent off food between 6pm and 9pm.

World of Illusions at Nation Galleria

Shoppers can go on a journey of optical amazement and enjoy a variety of illusions and tricks, not to mention collect some great Intagram shots, at the World of Illusions gallery. Key features include a height distorting ‘Ames Room’, the Antigravity Room, Head On A Platter and Impossible Chair illusions. There’ll also be a range of suprises hidden within the floor and wall displays.

Zellal Emaratea at Le Royal Méridien
The hotel is hosting an art showcase to celebrate the UAE’s history and traditions. Abu Dhabi Art and The Art of Maysoon and Bassam have joined forces to present Zellal Emaratea, a thought-provoking display that uses shadows to reflect on the UAE’s culture and identity. It also features work by the incredibly talented students of Emirates National School.

Country rock night at Viewz

Dance the night away to live country and rock music, and ride the rodeo bull for as long as you can to be in for a chance of winning one of the prizes. This Yas Mall foodie hub has lots for all ages to do, see and eat this National Day. The fun kicks off on Friday with easy cooking workshops where kids can have a go at creating the UAE flag from food. Emirati mascots will also be on hand to provide entertainment and there will be lots of giveaways throughout the weekend.

Paco Osuna and Carlo Lio at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE
