WEDNESDAY 24
HYVE ladies’ night at Iris
The Yas Island bar has reopened its terrace and has marked the occasion by launching a new girly soirée. The HYVE ladies’ night will take place every Wednesday evening. Describing itself as a ‘homegrown house revolution’, HYVE has already established itself at swanky Dubai nightclub White Dubai. Offering ladies three free drinks from 9pm, DJ Chelina Manuhutu is making a guest appearance this week so get those dancing shoes on.

Namwon Korean Music Orchestra
Abu Dhabi National Theatre is hosting traditional performances from Namwon Korean Music Orchestra, and also a mini K-Pop concert by Korean R&B singer Wheesung (below). Performing as part of the annual Korea Festival, now in its sixth year, the songwriter, producer and musical star is known as the R&B prince and has sold millions of records to his global fanbase.

Surf Café at the Mall at World Trade Center
Surf Café has already become  one of THE places to be seen in Dubai, and now it has opened its first branch in Abu Dhabi. Describing itself as ‘casual dining with a five-star touch’, it serves a huge range of meals. With sushi, vegan breakfasts, seafood, burgers and much more, there really is something for everyone.

Porcini festival
Villa Toscana is serving up a range of brilliant dishes based around the porcini mushroom’s unique nutty taste. The menu is available until October 27.

Ditch your phone at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi

Dress to impress

The winter party season is well underway and leading the charge is the return of Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE’s huge music festival, Burning Beach. Yas Pet Together
Animal lovers in Abu Dhabi listen up, there’s a new event that you’re going to go wild for. At Yas Pet Together you will be able to do yoga with your dog and take part in workshops about pet health, safety and grooming. But perhaps the thing we’re most looking forward to is the Pet Fashion Show, which brings a whole new meaning to the word catwalk.

Live music and entertainment at A’l Bahar
Throughout every weekend in October, the picturesque beach spot is enchanting visitors with a range of performances from local bands, fire dancers, acrobats and other live entertainers.

Visit the new outdoor terrace at Hakkasan
The summer temperatures are on their way out and we’re heading towards the perfect time of year for enjoying all of Abu Dhabi’s amazing outdoor terraces. Hakkasan in Emirates Palace has unveiled its stunning new al fresco space and the plush new area features gorgeous décor, comfortable cabañas and amazing views of the city. Make sure you go and check it out.
