There’s always loads to do in Abu Dhabi, and this weekend is no different.

Shoppers are in for a treat if they head to Yas Mall.
The Yas Mall of Illusion offers the chance to hang upside down from a ceiling, make one of your friends feel really small and loads more, including chances to win prizes and get discounts from the mall’s homeware stores.
It runs until Saturday and is free to enter.

If you’re an arty type, you might want to go to Alliance Française on Friday evening.
There’s a launch of an exhibition featuring French and Emirati artists and the chance to make some new friends and learn more about the city’s French community for the free event.

Maybe you want to do the truffle shuffle and get yourself down to Dino’s in Pearl Cotana Capital Centre to try out the latest special menu.

There are truffle-y dishes on the menu until the end of the month, and you can also pay Dhs25 to get truffle added to any dish that you order. Smells good to us.

Or perhaps you just want to sit in the dark and watch marines shoot big aliens? If so you could do a lot worse than checking out The Predator, which is in cinemas now.

We spoke to leading man (if you don’t count the Predator itself) Boyd Holbrook to find out more about the movie.

Ladies’ if you want to get your weekend started with a bang, then there’s always a ladies’ night you could rush to after work.
Here’s our pick of the Thursday night options.

Those who like a lie-in but also want to brunch might be interested in Caramel’s evening deal. We reviewed it recently, you can read our verdict here.

Whatever you do, have a good one!
