Abu Dhabi’s Atarmia Spa offering new seaweed sugar scrub treatment

In one year the average human will shed 3.6kg of dead skin. It’s enough to make your (living) skin crawl – but now you can do something about it.

Atarmia Spa at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas is offering a new layer to its spa experience with the debut of an exclusive exfoliation treatment that uses seaweed sugar glow to awaken the skin.

Therapists will give you a good rub down with a mix of peppermint leaf, seaweed and sugar, to gently remove dead cells.

Post-descale, you’ll be lathered in peppermint essential oil in a relaxing experience that is intended to “rejuvenate your skin to its natural, lustrous state, replete with a youthful glow”.

After you’ve been scrubbed down to the smooth state of a new-born baby, you can chill out in the warm auburn hues of Atarmia Spa.

And if you’re really loosening the cogs, you can make a full day of it with free access to the hotel’s swimming pools and the pristine private beach.

The treatment will cost you Dhs545 per person and the promotion will last until Wednesday January 30.

Doris Hecht, General Manager at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas said, “The exclusive exfoliation treatment is perfect for those looking to shine through event season and into the New Year and will leave the guests relaxed and rejuvenated.”

New Year, new skin, and all that.
