CHI, The Spa
We’re heavily dependent on caffeine to get us through the day here at Time Out Towers. So when we heard about the coffee scrub at CHI, The Spa, we were highly intrigued. Bring your friend or partner along and choose from one of the spa’s two couples rooms. Then sit back and enjoy an hour-long scrub using your favourite caffeinated drink. At least you’ll have no trouble staying awake for the treatment.

Few places do decadence like Dahlia spa in the Four Seasons, which boasts incredible views of the Arabian Gulf as you lay back and relax. The venue has eight luxury spa treatment suites, including one just for couples. Enjoy 45 minutes of together time in a swanky Jacuzzi followed by two hours’ side-by-side massage and facial. It’s not the cheapest on the market, but can you really put a price on quality time?

Emirates Palace Spa
Who said only women can have manicures and pedicures? Well, it’s not true. The good folk at the ultra-beautiful Emirates Palace Spa are offering a special Face and Feet package for couples, as well as singles. Sit back and enjoy as your fingers and toes are pampered like never before. The treatment begins with a customised Forlle’d facial and finishes with a unique Bastien Manicure and Pedicure. Then if you’re still not in a state of bliss, enjoy a scalp massage to relieve any unwanted tension.

There’s no doubt the gorgeous Venetian Village is one of Abu Dhabi’s treasures. Part of the reason is its abundance of great restaurants, as well as the awesome Espa at the Ritz-Carlton. Take your companion to enjoy their Ultimate Weekday Serenity for Two package during Ramadan. Try the traditional hammam, which will leave you cleaner and more relaxed than you’ve ever been. And when you’re done, it’s the perfect setting for a romantic stroll.

It doesn’t matter if you’re mother and daughter, husband and wife or simply friends. The couples’ massage at Heavenly Spa is designed to be enjoyed by two people and is well worth a go. You’ll get your own private suite to relax together in at one of Abu Dhabi’s plushest spas. All you have to do is enjoy.

Has your busy work schedule meant you haven’t seen much of your nearest and dearest lately? Then Nurai Spa might just be the ticket for you. Take a trip to this amazingly beautiful private island and spend the day living in luxury. Be sure to try the Reconnect Ritual, a two-hour couples’ session that includes a full-body massage and a facial. Afterwards, you can chill out in the outdoor relaxation area and do some stargazing without a care in the world.

And it’s every bit as luxurious as you would imagine from one of the capital’s biggest landmarks. Lie back and let the expert staff place smooth, heated stones on specific acupressure points on the body to melt away knots, tension and stress.

That’s exactly what’s on offer at Zayna Spa’s special couples’ treatment. You start by getting scrubbed down for an hour with either chocolate or coconut. Then when you’re suitably clean, it’s time for a one-hour full-body massage, side by side. You’re guaranteed to smell every bit as delicious as you’ll feel.

Zen the Spa
Enjoy the privacy of the couples’ treatment room with private lockers, shower cubicle and a huge bath tub. Choose from a nice range of treatments lasting up to two hours per person and unwind together. We recommend the combination treatment, which starts off with an aromatherapy bath soak in a tub of warm water, flowers and essential oils. Next up is a soothing one-hour massage then you finish off with a half-hour mini facial. Perfect for couples who find it hard to agree on one thing.
