Registration is now open for the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon 2020

If you started the new year with a health kick and need a challenge to keep you motivated, we might know just the thing.

Back for the third year, ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon has launched registration for the next race, set to take place on December 11.

If you sign up before midnight on February 3 you can take advantage of a 42 percent discount on race fees. After that, a 30 percent discount on fees will be available until the end of February.

Once again, this year’s race will feature distances of 42km, 10km, 5km and 2,5km.

But new this year is a relay race, allowing teams of two to split the distance (one will run 17km and the second, 25km).

In 2019, 16,500 runners took part, with people coming from all over the world to participate.

“ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon has quickly developed a strong reputation as a world-class sporting event and we anticipate even further growth for its third year,” says HE Aref Al Awani, general secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

“Every year, we adapt our race to cater to all the community needs, and so this year we have introduced the relay race to add even more excitement to our race and allow team collaboration within our race.”
