NeoRun returns to make a splash at Yas Marina Circuit

Abu Dhabi's messiest outdoor run is back

One of Abu Dhabi’s most colourful outdoor events is coming back – and it’s sure to make a mess.

NeoRun sees runners navigate a 3kilometre course dressed in costumes while being doused in neon paint at regular intervals.

This year, the event is embracing the theme of Halloween, with some 6,000 runners expected to descend on Yas Marina Circuit dressed in spooktacular and eye-catching attire.

Volunteers will line the track and throw buckets of neon paint around competitors, so it’s sure to be a messy affair.

And when the exercise part is over, it’s time to dance the night away with a psychedelic Enigma Party as DJs provide the soundtrack to an unforgettable night.

The keenly anticipated event takes place on November 2, but bookings are being taken now and participants are urged to sign up in advance.

Yas Marina Circuit, on Yas Island, will be decked out with creepy decorations and lit up with glowing lights, just three weeks before it plays host to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

It’s a great chance to grab a bit of exercise and enjoy a fun run with a difference in a truly world-class setting.

Tickets start from Dhs165, which includes a NeoRun T-shirt (so you don’t spoil your own clothes with paint), a Neosabre and a handful of other cool goodies.

Sign up via www.neorun.com/halloween to book your spot and you can look forward to a splashtastic night out.
