Are you up for this epic Abu Dhabi fitness challenge?

It’s easy to stay in shape in Abu Dhabi, thanks to so many great fitness classes and free fitness programmes.

If you’ve ever wishes for more of a challenge then you’re in luck.

The Jebel Hafeet Challenge is returning on October 25 to lay down the gauntlet for runners in Abu Dhabi.

Runners will be tasked with the daunting challenge of getting up Abu Dhabi’s highest peak Jebel Hafeet.

The 1,240m climb will cover a distance of 12.5km and it’s not for the faint hearted.

Despite cooler temperatures towards the end of the year, the steep incline and long distance makes it a real challenge for everyone brave enough to take part.

At least if you make it to the top you can take in the amazing view over Al Ain from the summit.
