Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Your essential guide to Sunday

It's the big one.

All roads lead to Yas Marina Circuit as it hosts the tenth anniversary of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

While Lewis Hamilton might already have the Formula One World Drivers' Championship sewn up, there are still sure to be lots of thrills and spills on the capital's big day.

The eyes of the world will be on Yas Island as Max Verstappen, Kimi Räikkönen and co. look to end the season on a high.

While Formula One icon and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso will race for the last time as he calls an end to his epic 17-year career at the top level.

And that's without even mentioning the string of world-class musicians and A-list celebrities coming to town to celebrate the capital's favourite weekend in style.

With so much going on, it can be hard to keep track.

Perhaps the most important thing to remember is the race itself starts at 5.10pm UAE time and is expected to last two hours or 55 laps.

Before that, the drivers' track parade takes place at 3.30pm until 3.55pm, giving fans a chance to see their sporting heroes before they hide themselves away in their expensive motors.

When the race is done and the winner has been crowned, attentions will turn to the late-night parties and superstar gigs.

The big one is Guns N' Roses, who will finish four days of epic Yasalam post-race concerts with an unmissable set at du Arena.

Gates open at 7pm and are due to close at 8pm, with fans advised to get there early to avoid a repeat of scenes at The Weeknd's gig on Friday.

There's plenty of cool events taking place elsewhere on Yas Island too/

Amber Lounge, a swanky pop-up at Yas Links Golf Club, is expecting a string of stars to descend to party the night away from 11pm to 6am.

Rich List Palm Garden Nightclub is also sure to be popular, as are the likes of MAD, who welcome rapper Future, and Iris.

While the BASE pop-up above Cipriani will also be a party hub, with the action kicking off at 11pm and continuing all the way to 6am.

And the usual Yas Island hotspots will also be hoping to end the weekend on a high, with the likes of Stars 'N' Bars, Filini Garden, Belgian Cafe, Stills and Skylight sure to be buzzing.
