For some of you, the idea of hitting a ball around a field with a stick might seem like a silly waste of time.

But golf is actually fun, and despite popular opinion, not just for old men with bad fashion sense.

Want to make friends, keep fit and get some fresh air? Well, golf offers all these things.

Now that the weather is cooling, this is also the perfect time to take up a new outdoor sport.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club is hosting an open day on October 13. So why not go along and give it a go?

Running from 8am to 5pm, there will be ‘come try’ golf sessions for men, women and kids scheduled throughout the day.

Driver demonstrations will also be available, plus by using the latest expert TrackMan technology, you’ll be able to see if you really can smash the ball further than your mates.

Experienced golfers can also partake in driving and putting masterclasses.

Reserve your place now by registering online here.

Or for more information contact Chris Billows on 055 896 1964 or by emailing cbillows@adgolfclub.ae.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a golfing addict, this is just what you need to get you ready for the golfing season.

Free. Oct 13 8am-5pm. Abu Dhabi Golf Club, Khalifa City A (02 885 3555).
