Pictures of the past wanted by Al Jimi Mall

Be part of history thanks to this Al Ain mall

Al Ain's original shopping destination, Al Jimi Mall, is relaunching this month, and bosses want you to be part of its future.

As well as getting a revamp, a retail park extension and lots and lot of new shops and restaurants, there's also going to be a 'memory wall' honouring the Garden City's past.

We're teaming up with the mall's developers Aldar to invite you to submit your  vintage pictures of Al Jimi Mall and Al Ain to us.

The collage of images depicting life in Al Ain through the ages will be unveiled during Ramadan.

The commemorative wall will be a permanent fixture, and all you need to do to be part of it is send us your images.

We’ll pass them on to the good people at Al Jimi Mall and the best ones will be included in the artwork.

All you need to do is post your picutres on Twitter or Instagram, tagging @timeoutabudhabi and using the hashtag #AlJimiMall.

We can't wait to see your images.
