Time Out Says
By night, it’s a sleek, stylish venue, with excellent service and near-flawless cooking. And, happily, it’s the same by day.
We’re bathed in natural light, sitting next to a huge window, overlooking the waters outside. The dining room is full, with a real mix of clientele inside. We’re here for business lunch, which is short, sharp and great value. Usually a meal here will set you back around Dhs1,000 for two people and we absolutely believe it’s worth it.
But if you want to have the experience at a discount, try the ebisu lunch menu. You’ll get miso soup, two small dishes and a main course for Dhs140. The menu changes regularly but on our visit we had excellent gyoza and wonderfully fresh yellowtail to start and perfectly charred, juicy lamb chops for the main course.
It’s served weekdays from noon-2pm and you can be seated, served and out of the door in under an hour, so for business meetings it really works. And those who want to linger won’t be rushed. Perfect.
The bottom line
Lunchtimes don’t get better than this.
