Silk Route Cafe

Time Out Says

Head out past Mushrif Mall towards the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and you’ll see the Holiday Inn, with a surprisingly good buffet hidden inside in the Silk Route Café. Offering either an à la carte menu or a choice of a various different themed buffets, this informal Asian and Arabic restaurant is also a good-value brunch option on a Saturday. The staff, however, are very friendly and always on hand to refill drinks and replenish food. They do a decent Korean buffet once a week and make a fair stab at doing decent Arabic dishes as well on other nights. We also recommend their mocca crème brûlée, which is one of the finest we’ve tasted in the city. It’s reasonable grub at a decent price.
