Time Out Says
This cheap-as-chick-peas 100 percent vegetarian Indian restaurant is located in the Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre, opposite Tanjara, in the food court. It’s a thriving, bustling place well worth visiting at night. Part of a chain with restaurants all over the world, the food is authentic and tasty, despite only making a small dent on your wallet. The décor is simple, with diner-style chairs and a massive glass wall separating customers from busy kitchen staff. It almost feels like a New York diner, with busy waiters bombing around and a no-frills approach. It’s street food in a mall. The menu is massive and authentic, full of dishes that clearly embrace old recipes and the spirit of home cooking. It’s popular with labourers and tourists alike, and its plain exterior means it’s often overlooked by passers-by, which is clearly their loss.
