Time Out Says

Fans of pizza will find the diner-style restaurant in the middle of the Tourist Club Area serves a reasonably priced and decent quality interpretation of the Italian favourite. With the usual classics available (quattro stagioni, Hawaiian, marinara and so on), it’s likely to satisfy the majority of punters looking for a cheap and cheerful, cheesy lunchtime chomp.

While there are numerous pasta, salad and pannini options available, we find that they aren’t quite up to the standards of the pizzas. We find the pasta dishes too stodgy and a little bland, while some of the salads can be unimaginative. The pizzas, though, are Italian-style, with reassuringly thin bases and come loaded with toppings, unlike some of the city’s doughier, American-style offerings. While the service isn’t anything to shout about, if you’re looking for a cheap, informal lunch – away from a mall food-court environment, Pizza Amore isn’t a bad choice.
