Time Out Says
Oro is a spacious venue with a large circular bar in the middle. The tables are intimate and cosy, perfect for a dinner date, and tastefully decorated in line with a fine-dining restaurant; elegant lamps on each table are a nice touch. The waiters are enthusiastic and will gladly chat about the Sicilian chef, before running through some of the specialties on the menu and telling you everything about each dish in great detail. A few of the options that sound promising, such as the veal tenderloin, end up lacking the final level of refinement when it comes to flavour, yet overall Oro’s offering is very strong, with a wide and nicely thought out menu. If it could just iron out a few kinks, it could be a great restaurant.
