Time Out Says
There are plenty of places in Abu Dhabi when you’re in need of a lovely cup of tea and a spot of light refreshment. Jumeirah at Etihad Towers’ lobby is grand and super modern, yet still very welcoming. The architecture is quite striking and is made up of dramatic sculptural forms with large circular chandeliers as the main focal points. The décor is plush, but not overbearing, and even though everything feels decidedly decadent the lobby still has a relaxed air. Fresh and interesting flower arrangements are always on display and they really do add to the ambiance. Lobby Lounge do a fabulous high tea and also serve tea from the TWG collection, from Singapore, which offers one of the largest tea selections in the world – around 1,000 exclusive blends in which all of the world’s tea-producing countries are represented. Food-wise, we recommend the wagyu burger and the cheese platter.
