Time Out Says

No longer do you have to drive to Dubai to get your American diner experience. Just head to Al Mamoora, next to the mosque, and you’ll find this cute, little burger joint. It looks more like a quaint train station in a small American town, yet instead of a ticket office there’s a mean grill and some super-friendly staff. A word of warning, however: there is no indoor seating – it’s outside or takeaway/delivery only. Grand Central burgers are good and put together with minimum fuss. There’s no monster menu; diners simply choose from beef (wagyu and Angus minced daily), chicken (organic Al Ain) or veggie (described as a mushroom, chickpea patty). Add to these a small selection of toppings, and that’s it. Only it isn’t, of course, because there’s so much more to these burgers! The bun is soft and whole wheat, the ratio between fried onions, salad, burger, cheese and condiments is perfectly balanced so that nothing is overshadowed, and you get to choose between a regular burger or mini burgers, letting you sample one of everything. If you’ve not been, go, and order a milkshake, too.
