There’s just no keeping up with Jones the Grocer – the restaurant chain has now opened up a brand new venue in Al Ain.

The global eatery is the latest attraction at the food and beverage hub of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Spread over two floors, the venue serves has indoor and outdoor areas, plus a kids zone, too.

There is also space in the funky spot for cooking classes, gourmet retail products, freshly baked cakes, breads and pastries and more.

The sprawling store features a glass enclosed walk-in cheese room and a gourmet charcuterie counter.

The new restaurant will boast a brand new menu, with fresh tastes such as home-made chocolate granola with Greek yoghurt, berry compote, coconut flakes, chocolate dulcey, and a salad of crunchy jivar black quinoa with kale, roast sweet potato, avocado, pomegranate and toasted pine nuts.

For something more filling, you might like the sound of grilled tuna with spinach, cherry tomato, orzo pasta, capers, red chilli and preserved lemon dressing.

Suman Haridas, director of operations for Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, Keita Catering, said: “We are extremely proud and honoured to bring a renowned brand as Jones the Grocer to Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. We are excited to serve our patrons a delectable cuisine and an equally enticing gourmet spread at our outlet.”

The jones the grocer brand was launched in 1996 and now has 15 stores currently in operation across the UAE and 26 worldwide – this being the first venue in Al Ain.

Looks like there is another good reason to take a scenic route to the UAE’s Garden City.

Open daily 7am-11pm. Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Ain (03 766 0115).
