Expect a traditional meal the Jazz way. A roasted turkey breast with sage and onion stuffing, Brussels sprouts, mozzarella, brie and red onion served on a béchamel base and topped with cranberry sauce and fresh sage. You might want to read that back again – this time, try not to drool.

This new all-day dining spot downtown is pulling out all the stops to set up its party. In addition to the usual stations and, of course, a plump roast turkey and its trimmings, the spread will also include a couple of specially prepared dishes from the hotel’s signature JW Steakhouse. There will also be a host of kiddie activities and an appearance from Santa.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi

Want to break away from the usual festive brunch set-up? Try this one on for size. You can bask in the winter sun at this laidback poolside, barbecue brunch as the attentive staff keep everyone’s spirits up.

Safina

The fresh seafood bar and barbecue station at this gorgeous venue will attempt to lure guests away from the more traditional dishes, although we know it will be tough to resist the Christmas pudding and yule log.

Sevilla
A choir of carol singers welcomes guests into this restaurant that hopes to impress with a feast fit for the occasion. There’s also plenty for the kids to get up to in the relaxed setting, including a little visit from Santa Claus.

The Foundry
This restaurant’s team of top-notch chefs are set to tantalise your taste buds with live stations featuring wonderfully creative dishes specially concocted with yuletide in mind. The Garden
The staple brunch at the Crowne Plaza gets a seasonal makeover especially for you. Live entertainment and fabulous feasting are on the cards at The Garden, with Santa set to drop by, too.

The Sportsman’s Arms
The American-Irish gastropub is all set to host its guests for an extravagant three-course meal that includes more uncommon dishes such as New England clam chowder and wild mushroom terrine, as well as a traditional line-up of roast turkey with all its trimmings. Vegetarians have no fear, the hearty roast butternut squash risotto promises to keep you merry throughout.

Todd English’s Olives
A four-course set menu, served on sharing platters, is the main event at this family-friendly brunch, and truly celebrates the spirit of the season. Kids’ activities include face painting and pizza making, plus a visit from that rather rotund, cheery man in red.

Dusit Thani’s team of pastry chefs get creative whilst carefully constructing and decorating rows of gingerbread houses. The finished treats will be available at the hotel’s patisserie shop.
