Time Out Says
The staff are courteous and help you select a suitable package for your afternoon.
The food on offer is dainty and bite-sized and there is plenty on the tray for two people, with a fair selection of sweet and savoury. The traditional scones accompanied with jam, cream and honey are delightful, as are the lemon macarons.
Guests also have the option of upgrading to the sparkling package, which is ideal for a special occasion.
Given the venue’s name, it would be fair to expect a signature chocolatey treat to feature. Sadly, though, that is not the case. There is, however, an impressive selection of cakes available for you to buy on your way out, in case you can’t shake off that chocolate itch that thissurely should have scratched.
The bottom line
Traditional stuff in a modern setting.
