We like to stay on top of the capital’s best restaurants, so we’re back again, and once more, we’re thoroughly impressed.
The sriracha chilli prawns get us off to a great start. They are delightfully tangy bites.
Despite being slathered in sauce, each prawn still maintains a crispy batter shell. The flavours are a delicate blend of sweet and spicy that the kitchen gets just right.
Main courses takes things to a whole other level.
The beef rendang, slow cooked in coconut and spices and served with plain rice, is all kinds of delicious.
The meat is incredibly tender and falls apart with the slightest prod of our forks, while the sauce is lip-smackingly delicious and complements the flavour of the beef perfectly.
It’s our current favourite among a menu packed with top dishes.
Cho Gao is a pretty cool place to enjoy a meal as well, thanks to its stylish Asian-inspired décor and relaxed ambience.
We could extol this eatery’s virtues all day (it’s an award-winner after all), but it’s really about time you went yourself.
