Time Out Says
While Amerigos may not be the most traditional Mexican in the capital, it will certainly sate the craving you may have for the famously spicy food. Service is attentive and not cloying, while the decor is constrained in the bright and airy dining room. They’ve clearly opted not to clean out the local party shops with everything the screams “Mexico” like some other venues in town. Starters such as nachos and quesadillas are perfectly lovely, but mains can fall a bit short for fans of spicy food. But portion sizes are large and one main could easily be shared between two. The verdict is Amerigos is great value for your money, and perfect if you’re not a great fan of spice.
