Time Out Says

This buffet restaurant suffers from a bout of under attendance; we’re not sure if this is due to the polarising décor of the venue itself (The Armed Forces Officers’ Club & Hotel is all valiant horse busts, oil paintings of war and cabinets displaying weapons) or if it’s that little bit too far out of the way to land on Abu Dhabi diners’ radars. The buffet covers a wide range of cuisines, including Omani, Malaysian, Italian, Singaporean and Thai, along with the expected array of salads and desserts. While the standard of what’s on offer is by all means good, there are superior options in the city, and although we’d recommend the restaurant as a good quality option if you’re in the area, we do tend to prefer venues where the staff don’t outnumber the guests.
