Time Out Says
We expected it to be tucked away in a seperate room, but instead the circle of dining tables is surrounded by punch bags, free weights and treadmills.
Luckily we’ve come straight from working out ourselves, so we’re actually appropriately dressed to be in a gym.
Watching the gym goers hard at work is certainly good motivation to order something healthy, but at this clean-eating establishment, it would be hard to do anything different anyway. Aside from the huge variety of protein shakes, there are eggs, muesli and granola for breakfast, plus plenty of interesting salads, sandwiches and pastas.
But we’ve arrived late (standard), so the selection is more limited than it usually is.
We start off with the marinated salmon fillet and saffron rice. It’s a simple dish but the salmon is fresh and very tasty, and squeezing the huge wedge of lemon over it makes it even better still. Meanwhile, the rice is pleasant enough but sadly doesn’t taste as fresh as the fish.
We also try the grilled chicken breast with mashed potato and mild harissa paste. The chicken is superb and the delicious creamy sauce has a lovely kick to it.
If you’re looking for protein-packed and nutritious meals that will help you recover after a workout, this is the place to go.
