Time Out Says
We’re here for lunch, so we take a seat out on the sunny balcony and start off with some garlic prawns, daring to break the mould and stray away from our beloved doughballs.
They’re totally delicious, and even the server seems surprised by how quickly we devour them.
The prawns are big and juicy with a spicy kick, while the red peppers add some sweetness. The combination of onion, garlic and fresh lemon is lovely and wish we’d ordered extra bread to help us soak up the remainder of the sauce.
Then, in an attempt to be healthy (purely to save room for more brunches of course), we go for the leggera superfood salad with chicken, and also the superboost salad.
We expect to feel nothing less than super after all these healthy dishes and we’re certainly not disappointed.
The latter is especially filling and interesting, with the butternut squash, avocado, beetroot, light mozzarrella and balsamic syrup working brilliantly together.
Meanwhile, the superboost is an explosion of colour and sweet and savoury flavours. With dried cranberries, quinoa, pomegranate, roasted peppers and more all finished off with a creamy house dressing, it’s hard to believe that something so tasty contains less than 600 calories.
We’re won over yet again.
