Dolmabahçe offers outside seating and a large inside area complete with a lounge section, an open kitchen and a more formal dining zone. The restaurant has paid detailed attention to its Turkish roots with its lavishly designed 17th century Ottoman Empire-style decor. Nods to neoclassical and traditional Ottoman art and culture are evident from the menu design, to the crystal chandeliers and the nazar amulets dotted around the restaurants. Aside from mezze and traditional dishes you’d find in any good Turkish restaurant, Dolmabahçe serves original meat recipes. Make sure to try the signature dish, the testi kebab, which is a stew of meat and vegetables cooked in a sealed clay pot.
