If you’ve never been to Hakkasan Abu Dhabi, well, we think you need to take a long hard look at yourself.
We’re of the opinion that the stylish restaurant serves some of the best Cantonese food imaginable, and the outdoor terrace is one of the most amazing places to enjoy when the weather isn’t too warm.
But as this June is also Global Wellness Month, the creative restaurant is inviting us all to come along and try one of its special tailored menus.
Whether you’re looking to eat healthier food or you have a food intolerance that can sometimes be tricky to accommodate, you’ll find loads of delicious dishes to suit your requirements.
The four speciality menus cater to gluten-free, shellfish-free, dairy-free and vegetarian diets, and each contains a fine selection of authentic Chinese dishes and Hakkasan favourites.
The dairy-free options include Peking duck, abalone mango salad, braised-dried seafood treasure, dim sum and mushroom and vegetable spring rolls.
Vegetarians will adore the steamed dim sum and the tofu and aubergine claypot in black bean sauce, while the gluten-free dishes feature fried soft shell crab, seafood soup and charcoal-grilled Canadian lobster.
Finally, the shellfish-free menu stars grilled vegetarian Shanghai dumplings, jasmine tea-smoked wagyu beef ribs and crispy duck salad.
Hakkasan Abu Dhabi executive chef Lee Kok Hua says: “There is a misconception around Chinese cuisine regarding health properties, we are proud to showcase how we source the finest ingredients and tailor dishes throughout our menus.
“We want to ensure that all our guests can enjoy great taste, whether from our full à la carte or dietary specific offerings without compromise.”
It all sounds utterly delicious.
