Sri Lanka's Ministry of Crab announces pop-up in Abu Dhabi

One of Sri Lanka's most popular restaurants is coming to Abu Dhabi.

Ministry of Crab will be in the capital from April 25 to 27 at the Shangri-La Hotel.

Named as one of the top 50 restaurants in Asia, the Colombo eatery is known for pushing boundaries and producing unforgettable shellfish dishes.

Some of the hotel's biggest hitters will be available during the three-day event.

Expect to tuck into dishes such as crab liver pâté, baked crab, and the quite brilliant pepper crab.

Chef Dharshan Munidasa, who is the brains behind these magnificent dishes, said: “We receive many travellers from the UAE at the restaurant in Colombo and we are delighted to plate up our unique preparations to them in their home country.”

We’re thrilled to have them here too.

Prices vary. Apr 25-27. Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi (02 509 8888).
