Abu Dhabi's branch of The Scene launches new breakfast menu

Simon Rimmer's Yas Marina venue will be serving morning treats such as avocado on toast and shot rib benedict

Abu Dhabi's branch of The Scene launches new breakfast menu

It’s the most important meal of the day, and the new breakfast menu at The Scene is helping us break our fasts in optimal fashion.

The new restaurant and bar from celebrity chef Simon Rimmer is offering a stealthy menu of breakfast classics to set you up for the day ahead.

Highlights include the likes of crushed avocado on sourdough toast topped with a fried egg, or maybe go for the short rib benedict if you’re pushing the boat out.

The breakfast runs daily from 8am until noon and prices start from Dhs29.

If you’re more of a late riser, and fiendish for a bit of spice, then you might want to strut down to The Scene on a Monday night for the Argy Bhaji curry night.

For Dhs99 you’ll be able to pair classic curries like lamb Rogan josh, butter chicken or vegan curry with a bottle of hops.

The British-style gastropub opened its doors in November last year, and as well as its hearty breakfasts and curries, it’s also serves roasts and classic pub grub.

The opening followed that of The Scene in Dubai, which sits in Dubai Marina’s Pier 7 complex.

We’ll have ours sunny-side up please Simon.

From Dhs29. Open Sun-Wed noon-11pm; Thu noon-1am; Fri 10am-1am; Sat 10am-11pm. Yas Marina. Abu Dhabi (050 797 0331)
