A taste of the USA is coming to Abu Dhabi this month.
Jumeirah at Etihad Towers is taking diners on a journey across the states with a bunch of culinary delights.
From a dress-up Halloween brunch to a cheesecake-filled afternoon tea, and from prime US steaks to New England lobster, there’s plenty to get your teeth into throughout October.
The hotel’s Lobby Lounge and Observation Deck at 300 are hosting a special afternoon tea every single day.
Whether you’re in the spacious lounge with huge floor-to-ceiling windows or 300m above sea level, the views are stunning and so is the food, which places American-style cheesecakes as the star of the show.
Open-air poolside venue Nahaam is showing off the best of US barbecue culture, with two super events.
On October 18 there’s a barbecue for the capital’s American community, filled with slow-cooked brisket and burgers and accompanied by the sounds of the Air Force-affiliated AFCENT Band.
The classic pit smoker will be out in force again on October 20 and 27, when 18-hour brisket will be prepared by a top chef and paired with seafood and other premium accompaniments.
The stars of the AFCENT band will be back again on October 19 when they’re performing at Nahaam’s country brunch.
Nahaam is also the venue for other highlights throughout the month including a night of American classics such as corn dogs, burgers and fries at Nahaam on October 23, an evening dedicated to Maine lobster at the venue on October 25 and a fun Halloween brunch on October 26.
Classy nightspot Ray’s Bar is also getting in on the action with a range of classic American mixed drinks being served between October 16 and 27, while steakhouse Ray’s Grill will dish up a special menu of USDA Prime cuts of beef from October 17 to 27.
