So here's a few of our favourite deals to check out this week.


You can’t deny it, there’s something about a stack of tiny sandwiches, beautiful cakes and soft scones that makes you feel very sophisticated.

The afternoon tea at Filaments is now Dhs120 for two people, so you might even feel generous enough to treat a friend and feel classy together.

Have you ever noticed that all the best foods come rolled up? The Terrace on The Corniche has.

With burritos, crêpes, cannelloni, peking duck pancakes, spring rolls and Korean lettuce wraps, this Wrap and Roll night has it all.

It’s hump day and we’re already starting to look ahead to the weekend.

But you can inject a bit of style into your midweek with the awesome Flavors of Arabia at Oléa at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.

Taste an array of local dishes in either an indoor or alfresco setting, whichever you decide.

There’s also the option of enjoying free-flowing grapes and hops.

Lemon & Lime has to put on one of the liveliest teachers’ nights in town.

Educators from across the UAE are treated to live entertainment, buy one, get one free tapas and free-flowing house drinks for Dhs110.

One of our favourite sports bars, Blu Skay Lounge & Grill is getting the weekend started with a feast that includes roasts, Yorkshire puddings, gravy and all the veggie sides you could wish for.

There’s also a host of pub grub classics such as nachos, curries and salads.

There’s a new chef at cheery Mexican restaurant El Sombrero, and to celebrate her arrival it is serving a huge spread of traditional home-cooked Latin American dishes every Friday night.

The tasty and colourful cuisine is complimented by mixed drinks, Mexican brews and upbeat tunes from the resident band that will keep you on your toes all night long.

The best bit is that you can eat and drink as much as you please.

People-watching along the canals of Venice with a plate of antipasti is one of the best possible ways to spend a warm evening.

Although we may be many thousands of miles away from Europe, Si Ristorante Italiano & Bar has brought the joy of this brilliant Italian tradition to the the capital.

The restaurant is serving a selection of authentic and delicious antipasti with two glasses of bubbly or grape for only Dhs100.
