There are so many impressive Ramadan tents to visit in Abu Dhabi at the moment, and one of the largest is the Layali El Hilmiya tent at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi.
But as well as putting on an incredible iftar featuring 300 different dishes, the impressive structure is hosting something very different and exciting on Tuesday May 28.
For the first time ever, the tent is hosting a ladies’ night souk, designed to celebrate local female designers and small business owners.
Ladies will be able to browse eleven stalls selling handmade crafts, oils, abayas and accessories.
There will also be a fashion show featuring handmade abayas taking place on the tent’s special island catwalk, which crosses the pretty pool in the centre of the tent.
Nadine Vondermann, Director of Sales & Marketing at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, said: “We are delighted to acknowledge the significant and inspirational role that women play in the local community.
"This year’s souk will be nothing short of a contemporary chic experience, driven by women in power.”
Guests can also refresh themselves with a delicious suhoor, and every woman in the area is invited to come along and enjoy a night of art, culture and fashion.
Tue May 28 9pm-2am.
