Throughout Ramadan the island is also hosting a range of iftars to break your fast once the sun sets over the city.

Barfly by Buddha-Bar
Enjoy Pan-Asian plates like sushi, noodles, meat and more at this cool canal-side bar and restaurant. The set menu offers four courses of pure brilliance.

Take a trip to Saadiyat Beach Club where you can break your fast with your choice of traditional Middle Eastern food while enjoying the picturesque sight of the sun setting over Saadiat Island.

From Thursday to Saturday there’s an iftar buffet at the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club venue will plenty of Middle Eastern classics, as well as a kids’ buffet. Parties of four people will get an extra person free if you book ahead. There are limited numbers each night so check before you go.

The spectacular island of Zaya Nurai is always a joy to visit, and the sharing-style iftar spread at seafood and Arabic restaurant Hooked is as brilliant as the views over the glittering waters of the Gulf. The set menu includes hot and cold mezze, tasty main courses and decadent desserts.

A huge buffet of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and traditional Arabic dishes like ouzi, saj and shawarma. The outdoor area boasts panoramic views of the turquoise sea while the inside is light and airy.

The Market Iftar features more than 100 dishes from around the world, including Emirati delicacies, Iranian grills, European favourites and Asian dishes. With views over Saadiyat beach, the feast is concluded with lovely desserts like khabeesa, dates and walnut maamoul, while kids will be kept amused with games and entertainment.
