Yalla Laughs is back

Abu Dhabi’s independent comedy club returns

Enjoy a whole load of funny for free as the ever-popular Yalla Laughs comedy club takes centre stage in the city.

Fans will be doubled up with laughter as the long-running show hosts not one but two gag-packed gigs in the space of ten days.

First, the Beat the Camel (no need to call the authorities, they don’t mean like that) night will be heading to Italian eatery Pappagallo, in The Village at Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, on Monday, March 5.

Comedians will showcase their best material in a bid to survive the gong and stay on stage. the longest.

A selection of the UAE’s hottest comic talent will be on show at the rapid-fire event.

On Thursday, March 15, it is time for Rooftop Comedy, held at Up and Below, on the 12th floor of Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center.

New York funnyman Simeon Goodson – now right at home in the UAE having relocated from the Big Apple to Al Ain – will be aiming to raise the roof as the headline act.

Already a familiar face to Abu Dhabi fans as the MC for Frankie’s Comedy Cellar at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Goodson’s upbeat brand of wit is sure to go down a treat.

Both shows get underway at 8pm and entry is free both nights. For more information and other dates, visit www.yallalaughs.com.
