Exciting new Cirque du Soleil show coming to the UAE

Avatar-inspired theatrical spectacular will be on stage in January

The big screen will be transported to the stage as the world famous Cirque du Soleil makes a huge world tour stop-off right here in the UAE.

The brand new touring show, Toruk – The First Flight, inspired by James’s Cameron’s mega movie smash hit Avatar – will be taking over Dubai World Trade Centre in January.

The eagerly-awaited show, which is being presented by Alchemy Project, will take theatre-goers on an incredible journey to the fantasy world of Pandora (where the Hollywood blockbuster is set) in a visually stunning stage show.

Through a mesmerizing fusion of cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft accompanied by a soaring cinematic score, Cirque du Soleil applies its unique signature style to James Cameron’s vast world.

Narrated by a “Na’vi Storyteller” and populated by unforgettable characters, Toruk – The First Flight is a mythical tale set thousands of years before the events depicted in the movie, and before any humans ever set foot on Pandora.

Toruk – The First Flight is Cirque du Soleil’s 37th production since 1984, with more than 155 million hailing from more than 300 cities having witnessed the captivating shows.

Cirque du Soleil will be rolling into Dubai from January 4 until January 17, with ticket prices ranging from Dhs295 to Dhs2,495.

Tickets go on pre-sale for pre-registered customers and Cirque Club members on October 17 at 11am.

The hottest tickets in town will then go on general sale at 11am on October 20.

This awe-inspiring production looks well worth making the trip to Dubai for.
