Ladies' night in Abu Dhabi

The best ladies' nights deals in Abu Dhabi. Get ready to dance

Ladies’ nights are a big deal in Abu Dhabi. Any day of the week, you’ll be able to find a great deal at some of the best bars in the city. And, in many cases, you won’t need to pay a single fil. Of course, the free drinks are for ladies only, but you can be sure of a busy night out by hitting one of these bars.

Ladies get four free drinks at this pub in the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi. But one of the highlights of the night is the live music from house band The International Playboys. The group has a loyal following and blasts out high-tempo rock classics to an enthusiastic crowd. Few places are as packed on a Wednesday night as Heroes.
8pm-11pm. Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, Hamdan Street (02 616 6132).

Impressions Rooftop Lounge

If you’re looking for an altogether more laidback experience, this one is for you. Unlimited grape and mixed beverages are served while you look out over the mangroves and the water from this rooftop lounge. It’s ideal for a relaxed post-work catch-up. Certainly don’t expect anything too rowdy.
8pm-10pm. Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (02 656 1000).

Iris has one of the best spots in Yas Marina, perched over the water, just across from the Yas Viceroy. It makes for a spectacular setting, and this laidback lounge makes the most of its location with sprawling outdoor seating. For ladies’ night, women get four free drinks
from 7pm. This is quite a relaxed place early in the evening, but gets livelier later as the music picks up.

The Tavern

This old-school British pub serves up a suitably no-thrills ladies’ night. From 8pm to 11pm there’s unlimited house grape. There’s also an inviting menu of pub grub should hunger strike, so tuck into some comfort food like the fish and chips.
8pm-11pm. Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort, Corniche Road (02 677 3333).

The Yacht Club
A classy soirée is on the cards if you head down to The Yacht Club. And the ladies’ night here is appropriately named “Glitz and Glam”. You’ll get unlimited bubbly from 9pm, with tunes provided by DJ Virgod. Accompany the free drinks with some of the excellent sushi served up by the kitchen staff.

For ladies’ night, the offer includes free house beverages from 7pm to 10pm, plus selected finger food. Chilled-out tunes from the resident DJ set the tone perfectly.

Cho Gao
It may be Heroes that springs to mind when thinking of a place for a drink in the Crowne Plaza, but Cho Gao is also well worth a look. It’s a smoke-free restaurant, a welcome rarity in the capital. And on ladies’ night, known as Cho Gal, it serves up four free beverages. There’s a nice menu of Asian bar bites, too, if you get peckish.

Level Lounge
Despite the hotel being amid the hustle and bustle of Hamdan Street, Level Lounge feels detached from it all. Four house beverages are available from 8pm to 11pm in a relaxing setting next to the rooftop pool.

A nightclub that straddles a Formula 1 circuit may sound like an extravagant choice for a mid-week ladies’ night. And it is. But it won’t break the bank. In fact, it won’t cost anything at all. A cool Saadiyat hangout well known for its evening party brunch, Caramel also does a good ladies’ night. Bubbly is complimentary, plus there’s 50 percent off the food menu. Expect bar food, but a classy take on the usual burgers. Kobe barbecue beef sliders and truffled penne pasta, anyone?
