Get that Money, Money, Money out for a ticket asap

Calling all dancing queens (and kings) – this June, it’s time to don your platform boots and embrace the glitter because Mamma Mia! is hitting the stage at Etihad Arena, Yas Island.

From Wednesday, June 11 to 22, the global phenomenon will bring ABBA’s iconic hits to life in a show-stopping production that has captivated audiences for nearly 25 years.

With over 65 million viewers worldwide, 50 productions, and translations into 16 languages, Mamma Mia! is a certified musical marvel – and now, it’s Abu Dhabi’s turn to join the party.

If you’re unfamiliar with the story but fancy getting in on the hype, we’ll clue you in. The vibes include a sun-soaked Greek island, a wedding and a daughter searching for her father.

The catch? She’s got three potential candidates and only one big day to figure it out. Cue plenty of laughs, drama, and an unforgettable soundtrack featuring ABBA’s timeless classics.

Get ready to sing along to Dancing Queen, Money, Money, Money, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Voulez-Vous, and so many more.

Created by Judy Craymer in 1999, Mamma Mia! has only grown in popularity, even inspiring a 2008 film (the highest-grossing live-action musical of all time, no less) and a sequel a decade later.

Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, with music and lyrics by ABBA legends Benny Andersson and BjΓΆrn Ulvaeus, it’s a celebration of music and storytelling that never gets old. It’s going to be a popular one, so don’t let tickets slip through your fingers.

From Dhs125. Wed, June 11 – Sat, June 22. Etihad Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. abu-dhabi.platinumlist.net, @etihadarena (0600 511 115).
